Washington Terminal RS 1 and Western Maryland BL2 are the headend power for their respective trains.
BL2 number 81 rounds the bend running lite.
It's all about the B&O as SW 9 does some switching leaving the caboose on a siding.
The welcoming committee of Patsburg, standing in front of the town trash truck, are not even aware of the switching operation taking place as a Baltimore & Annapolis SW9 is about to couple to a WM boxcar. Brakeman Barney Stiles is standing in the center of Patsburg Ave. about to do his thing as the engine moves forward.
B&O 594 is about to couple to an all B&O cut of cars. Brakeman Corky Rodgers stands by.
Up on the Mountain Division SW1 of the MA & PA has just set out a loaded flat car of logs.
Patrick I doubt that I have been seeing your photos and naratives as long as many of the forumites , but I have totally enjoyed them . 🤓
