Reply to "Switcher Saturday Mark II, 01/25/2020!"

A relatively new FS10 works the yard on a dreary morning in late 1949.  The Pennsy bought 55 of these 1,000hp shifters, twice as many as the next largest buy.  Unfortunately FM's 2-cycle opposed piston diesel engine, while a good submarine engine, did not work well as a railroad engine and many FMs were retired early.
