Today on the Free State Junction Railway, I'm featuring two switchers. The classic EMD BL-2 of the Western Maryland and a freshly painted C&O 0-8-0 by Lima Locomotive Works. Both are captured performing their various switcher duties on the Free State Junction Railway. I hope everyone has a terrific weekend! Be safe = Be well!
WM BL-2 number 81 is on the team track as the crew has spotted a WM horse car full of race horses destined for Patsburg Downs Race Course. 
Bursting out of East Tunnel number 81 is at the point of a freight train. 
Passing a GG-1 which is about to come to a full stop at the station so passengers can board its' train. 
C&O number 75 making it's way across the grade crossing as Ed, the headend brakeman protects. 
That's Jake the brakeman riding the footboard, fireman Kent is on the ground near the cab stretching his legs. Dispatcher says it will be another 20 minutes before a green signal. 
Taking on water. 
BL 2 number 81 idles on a siding. 
BL-2 and GG-1 meet at the station.
With whistle blowing and bell clanging, number 75 takes the grade crossing.
