Reply to "Switcher Saturday Mark II!, 10/31/2020"

I joined the K-Line Collectors Club just to get this locomotive.  I got it for my kids, actually.  While I don't run conventional anymore, I felt compelled to dig this one out today.  Shortly after I received it, it stopped running.  I took it to Davis Trains in Milford, Ohio to see if they could fix it for me.  This is when I met Jim Barrett.  He took the locomotive back into the workshop while I looked around.  In short order he returned it to me with a big smile on his face and told me there was no charge...warranty work.  He spent quite a bit of time demonstrating the "new" DCS system and answering the many questions that popped into my head.  I could tell he thoroughly enjoyed what he was doing. This was the only time I met Jim, but he made quite an impression on me.  RIP, Jim.
