So when I saw this one, not yet received , on eBay for a very fair price it was impossible to resist.... and this one is two rail.

Daniel, I also find these Lionel switchers from the early 1950s irrisistable:20190608_181937

They have heft and Magnetraction, are very good pullers,  and look great parked on sidings. These Postwar gems in good operating order are economical at train shows.

I much prefer these early 1950s Lionel switchers to those made in the late 1950s and 1960s. Arnold

 

The 616 Santa Fe was produced in the 1960s, however. One of the cheapened NW-2s. Nice looking switcher, though!
