I can understand it if they're reselling a sold-out item, but if they're inflating the price of an in-stock item, then they are trying to take advantage of someone's unfamiliarity with the market. It may be the way the world is, but still it is unkind and disreputable. And of course, the buyer isn't protected by Menards' great customer service. Hopefully those items don't sell.

I've seen books on the "bay" for twice list price that are still available new with a normal discount.
