Reply to "Thank you to all my OGR friends for a great York"

So the question is was I disappointed? Not at at. I was shocked when my wife encouraged me to take the trip this week. She had a double mastectomy the week before York and I was fine missing this one under these conditions. She thought it was important to get my son away from the house for a few days and give him a break from all what has gone on.

That brings me to why I started this thread. I want to thank everyone who stopped me at York to ask about my wife. I want to thank everyone who is praying for her recovery. It really means a lot to me to have friends that offer that kind of support. York and this forum is not just about trains it's about the great friends we make along the way. Thank you, you guys are the best.

 It's a family here!

Hope you realize that without saying everyone is hoping for the best! (Even the "KoolAid" drinkers;-)

And she's right, tough on the children of all ages, a break is welcome.
