Strogey, I know it's not for everyone, but when you were faced with what to fit between those two tracks, it was a great chance to try scratch building something. That way it would fit as you wanted, be a chance to design your own structure and cut the cord for having to buy kits for every need. Since this kit is causing you some aggrivation you still can give freelance scratchbuilding a try. Could be the start of a more rewarding way to build your layout too. Just one mans opinion, and figured I'd share it.
