As Mark (barrister) alludes to above, you either have the train gene or you don’t. You can expose your children to all sorts of recreational interests but, that doesn’t mean they’ll enjoy them enough to pursue them.

And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. God created each of us as individuals.
