I'm planning a similar outcropping on my layout.  Would you please provide a bit more detail about you you constructed the girder supports?  Are those Plastruct materials or something similar?

Anything you can share about the kits and/or raw materials used to make the fence along the deck, the girders just below the fence around the perimeter, and the support stanchions would be most appreciated.

It all looks great.  Thanks for sharing.

STEVE I use Masonite girders and the piers in this application are Lackawanna style cut to.length and height. The railings are again Masonite.from East Coast Enterprises. . The stone trimn is a tile border I found at home depot. The platform is 3/4 inch plywood The road is slate tile from roofing and the sidewalks are tile.  I  still have to weather and age the steel and tile to clean for me.Hope this helps have fun!
