Reply to "The "Encourage Others Challenge": Post a picture of your layout...how many will post???"

IMG_0441IMG_0441Well, here goes...I'll try to get in a brief description of my superstreets 1930's trolley layout.  12' x 2'2".   (Gotta make do with the space available).  I have the tablework built and installed,  62" high because my computer, desk, etc. are underneath.  I can still reach to the back.  My track is down, wiring is mostly complete (stopping sections still to put in).  Some structures are temporarily in place.  The next step is foamboard paving, sidewalks, etc., then I'll put up overhead.  I plan to run three-rail streetcars using the superstreets center rail, with the option of changing over to scale dc via the overhead when I want to run the scale dc Wagner drive cars I have.  I've found my scale trolleys track just fine on superstreets 21" curves.  Now, I'm going to try to post a very poor photo.  It's the only one I presently have.  I hope my computer skills are up to the task.

Well, Happy Day!!  It looks like they were.  That's a General Models Birney (with an IM handcar power truck underneath) in the front of the shot...and you can barely see a Lionel Fort Collins car  in the background.  Structures:  The corner of a plastic bank, scratchbuilt hotel,  almost finished storefront, Clever Models Hobby Shop, a Frank Ellison El Ropo Cigars (scratchbuilt), and in the distance a Mill building (also from an Ellison article).  More structures are on hand for later installation.
