Running the Southern Pacific H-12-44 with freight consist last Saturday. The freight train passes the Pickering Shay log train stopped at Patterson station.
Having fun with the "work in progress" layout. We run conventional with two MTH Z-4000 transformers and track divided into blocks. There are two levels; this is the lower level. Engines can be turned on the wye. The upper level has the yard for car and caboose storage and a roundhouse, turntable and engine facility. There is also a small sawmill for the logs from the Soap Creek logging area on the lower level.
