I hear ya but ...
Unfortunately there's a constant, deafening roar that comes from huge numbers of Mac users repeating that same quote in unison, over and over again. If that buzz isn't sufficient to get people to leave their Windows machines en masse why would your one vote make a difference?
I tried switching from the PC to the Mac, twice, and came back within a few days each time. I saw no advantage to the Mac that would justify the work, and the huge price difference, required to change.
From another point of view, I'll concede that Apple's iPhone is much better at many things than Android 'equivalents', but this isn't the case with the Mac and the PC. Both are very, very close in capability. One's a little better at some things, the other is better at others.
