ALEX M the idea of keeping your dad with you while repairing and upgrading is good you want to keep his mind active.

my sister has dementia and she loves to play bejeweled game on computer and says it keeps her mind active and makes her feel normal.

your right about this dementia creeping up, I wish you and family all the best as time moves on.

have you looked online for topics on this and most importantly the things not to do as we discovered we were doing a lot incorrectly with my sister.
