I didn't bid on any models and only gave the list a cursory look. But, a 3R friend who is converting to 2R, bid and purchased a USH 2-10-2. Turns out, it was the same highly modified USH model I purchased from a UK builder back in 1995 and had to sell in 1999 due to a family need.

My friend graciously agreed to sell it to me and now it's back home. I looked for this model for 18 years, questioned any dealer I spoke with, but all to no avail. Now, knowing it was in Jim's collection, answers why it just vanished.

Anyway, I too am a happy camper due to this auction and never let it be said O scalers don't take care of each other. Thanks again Will.

Hopefully, Jim can see how much joy he's spread throughout the O community.
