Turning the wheel counterclockwise should work on it’s own - you shouldn’t have to then hit the direction button. I have been using the Cab2 for several years and when I do a quick counterclockwise turn on the wheel, I usually see the headlight direction change for my Legacy engines. Were you running a Legacy engine??? And if you hit the direction button, be sure you don’t tilt it down or up - only a straight press in seems to work.
Hi Paul - I remember you putting out some photos of your 21" passenger cars on some of your curves roughly a month back. Could you please post those again? I apologize - I cannot find your photos anymore on the OGR. You had posted some photos of your 21" cars on different radius curves so that I could see how they looked in the different radius curves. I have a variety of passenger cars of different lengths - 17", 18", 19", and 21". I am just starting to build my layout and have only purchased GarGraves 37" flex straights so far. I am trying to decide what curves I want. I want something on which the 21" cars will look great. I am looking at a potential rectangle layout with the inside cut out so that I can walk around on the inside while running trains around the perimeter. That would enable me to use larger radius curves because I would not have any turn-arounds for the trains. It would be a continuous loop around the rectangle.
Thanks!
Robert
