I expect you'll be disappointed. 
While I can envision that "maybe" at some time in the future they might consider another handheld, it's probably a fairly remote possibility (no pun intended). It's just too financially attractive to toss the ball over the wall and let someone else deal with all the hardware aspects of the job.
