Another significant difference between the 5001 and the 5011 classes was the different style of drivers. I like the 5001 Baldwin Disc drivers personally over the Boxpok style that the 5011's were equipped with.

I agree Steve,

The Baldwin Disk drivers make this a tantalizing engine, if it would be offered by Sunset... And significant enough to be different than the 5011 class, which is long discontinued and sold out.

Also, the tenders aside from being available in coal or oil versions, had two styles of trucks

I believe the 5001-5005 were equipped with Buckeye trucks, and 5006-5010 were equipped with Commonwealth tender trucks.
