My first DCS system(original version) lasted 7 years. I retired it and purchased a new one.

At $300/7 years, I figured it cost just under $43 per year to own and enjoy. I figure that I got my moneys worth.

My new one was hooked up within a week, instead of waiting (who knows how long) for repair.
