I get the PC to TIU USB connection and the TIU to Remote 4 pin "telephone" cable connection. I understand the potential drivers issue as I've come across this issue many times with other systems.

But, what is the 1/8” Stereo Mini-to-Mini Cable (M.T.H. Part # 50-1009) used for? Only thing I can think of is to connect it between the TIU and my PC.
