There's a sticker on the bottom of the TIU that may have a "Rev" followed by a letter and, pehaps, a number. What is it?

Barry, only thing on the bottom is "M.T.H. ELECTRIC TRAINS PATENT PENDING CONTAINS FCC ID: OT8RFMT". Am I better off buying new one cost wise vice repair expense and will have any later features in any way, such as wi-fi hookup etc? Assume my remote will operate with newer TIU? Thank you for your input. Greatly appreciate.
