TMCC Engine found but wont run under DCS

I recently moved over to DCS but I have a few TMCC/Legacy Locomotives that I like to run. I hooked everything up per the instrctions to run my TMCC locomotives. When I go to set the locomotves up, the DCS finds them and adds them without a problem but, when I tried to start them up they won't start. I can still use the TMCC remote to run them so I know that they have power and signal. Does anyone know where I could be going wrong. I did notice it gves them the number 1 for an address by default. The locomotive was a brand new TMCC upgrade so it should have had the address of 1 if am not mstaken. Any help would be appreciated.
