TMCC engine not working with DCS

hey all I just got my first TMCC engines 2 altas O. I’m trying to run them with the DCS sense I don’t have the Cab 1 throttle but I do have the trainmaster bass and all the right hook up wires. My problem is I tried the #1 engine address like the book saids but the engines won’t do anything other then the engines lights are on and the speaker just hums. I have no idea what number the TMCC engines are programmed to sense but it’s not #1 so my question is can you Reset these back to Factory using the DCS remote sense I don’t have the Cab 1 thanks for any info!
