Did the R2LC work in another locomotive? It appears this simply has lighting and coupler, no smoke. That being the case, besides the sound, does anything else react to the TMCC commands? The sound may be a bad sound board, did you try that in another locomotive?

Does the electrocoupler function under command control? How are you programming it?
