Reply to "TMCC Throttle wont work - I must be missing something"

My problem with my N&W Y6b 2200 (Lionel TMCC) is that the locomotive suffers from a throttle response lag. The batteries are still new and all the wiring is done correctly and all transformers, bricks, command base, etc. are in phase. Im not sure if its the electronics inside the engine or the motor.
