This reminds me of the episode of Top Gear when they used a British Diesel to hit the "safest car in England" at three different speeds. I have mixed thoughts on the entertainment value after seeing all the actual train/car collisions that have resulted in loss of life.

However as a demonstration for safety purposes, I don't see any issue with it.
