The TCA show has more of the earlier trains and all scales plus some modern. The crowds seem about the same but the Cranberry site is nicer. I live near Butler and I would definitely go to the next TCA show.
I have not been to A train show in many years and I had A very good time meeting and talking to fellow model railroaders and some of the venders. Thanks to everyone that took time out of their day to chat I don't get to see or meet many new people. The things I was looking for were not for sale at this show and I was planning on going to York but talking with people at the show I can order the stuff from Ross and have it shipped cheaper than turn pike tolls, gas and entry fees at York so I don't think I'm going to go. I picked up some URR cars, some soda pop and candy bar boxcars for two trains I am putting together. I saw A Hershey's steam engine that I wanted to get but went and bought other things and forgot to go back and get the engine. Well I did not get what I went for but I did get some stuff I can use in the future. Again thanks to everyone for A great time and good conversation and Take care. P.S.
