Train store in Downers Grove Illinois

Not sure if anyone remembers, but some years back, there was a "train store" in Downers Grove, run out of the front of a guys home. I think his name was Doug and I think he would come to the DuPage county farigrounds, with a yellow school bus. He painted a loco for me and did not know if he was still around.
