Train Stores & Sites to see passing thru PA.

I'm heading out in the morning on a brief out and back trip, from here in Louisville to Pocono Summit, PA.

Route: 1-71N to I-70E, stop at Wheeling.  Connect to I-79 at Wash. PA, and swing thru Pitt.  Then head due east on Hwy. 22 till I hit the cut-off for the Curve.  Leave the Curve, and head into Altoona for a brief observation of the NS Operation there/ Pennsy History.  Leave Altoona on I-99, and connect to I-80 East.  Take I-80 all the way to the Pocono's/ Destination off I-380.  Then essentially do a 180° turnaround, and come back.  By the time we get to (guessing) State College, it will be dark.  I could take I-80W to Akron, then connect to I-76 to I-71S.  Mileage is negligible, between the two different routes.

I'm planning on dropping by Pat's while passing thru Wheeling to say hi, and hitting the Curve, and see Altoona.  What else can I see on this trip.  Not visiting the whole state.  Just picking up a friend, and coming back home.

Was thinking about the Viaduct, but that adds 1.5 hrs of driving time, since its NW of Scranton.  Are there any other dealers/ forum sponsors along this route?  Or members to say greetings to?  If I had more time, I would build more in, but I do not.  Total trip time is about 30 hours.

Thank you for your input.

Regards,
