John, yes the planes do fly in January. It’s something Lynley and I are thinking about for future Trainstocks. But this year we’ll be just settling her mom at our house after Lynley’s father’s recent passing.

All the fires were far north of us. And with all the rain lately it should lower the danger significantly.
