Sure. I used to see it come through Denver on a regular basis when I first moved out here. Which coincidentally was in 1998. I was always fascinated with it. From what I've read it was not a success for the BN due to excessive wear at the overlapping joints between cars. Also the nature of the cars created problems when trying to weigh the train to determine the volume of coal loaded.
i still think they're pretty cool cars.
