It was given to me by my granddaughter a few years ago...she had know idea when she picked it up and was quite surprised to find out that I had known Dick since the early 1960’s, long before he acquired Lionel.
Thanks Paul! The signed box is interesting. That brings me back to my initial curiosity: How/where was this car offered? My hunch is that it was offered as a purchase opportunity as part of a tour during that convention, but you know what happens when you assume. Not the most important information in the grand scheme of things, but I always enjoy a good mystery (especially one that's easily solved!~)
