Where did you find the big gear in the center of the turntable?

Diamond Scale Parts. Worm and Gear for O-scale Click on the underlined phrase, scan down the parts list to WG-9 Contact Diamond Scale. They appear to be still in business though somewhat hard to contact. The Gear/worm drive is Boston Gear G 1049. This Gear is for a 3/8" shaft, the original Diamond Scale gears were for 7/16" shafts.
