They used to make fuse holders that had a lamp in the (externally-mounted) holder cap. The lamp lit when the fuse blew--making the blown fuse easy to find. This is what we need for TVS's--a TVS holder that lights (or better--flashes!) when the TVS goes south.

I bet Gun Runner John could make MILLIONS selling such a device....right?
