I tried that once just for fun with the DCSRC I sold you and another one I had sitting around. Didn't work really well. Lots of interference and/or engines responding to commands intended for the other engine, etc. Even with the bases isolated, it still wasn't that great.

I don't believe the older IR unit is compatible in any way with the new DCSRC but I may be wrong.
