@Trinity River Bottoms Boomer : regarding your staffing comments - I wonder what the break even, in cost, is with regards to staffing (load inspections) vs. the cost to repair and/or replace a bridge. I don’t know railroad ops, but do railroads insure bridges? If so, is it cafeteria style? I.e. fire only? get hit by a barge?
