Universal remote (orange)

I suspect that I'm getting some electrical interference when using the universal remote, especially with multiple engines that also happen to be equipped with unused bluetooth capability. Occassional, the engine(s) stop unexpectedly.

The problem may be my cellphone, which is easy to move away.

Any other thoughts? The remote has the most recent software, and I re-paired each engine.
