Anyone know if the track to Promentary Utah National Park is still in existence? If so will it handle an 844 and 4014? I know that part on the line was bypassed with the one that crosses Great Salt Lake.

That original UP/CP track alignment, with its steep grades, is long, long gone. After the Lucan Cutoff ( the trestle/causeway across the Great Salt Lake) was completed, the original track was all removed.
