I also asked him what trucks they put on the cars (the whole milk car new truck issue). He informed me they have the prior version trucks. They did not do any redesign on these cars.

Not sure what that means. If it means Lionel will continue to use the current trucks with non-articulated couplers, that's a non-starter and totally unacceptable. I will continue to fill any freight car needs with Lionel old new stock, or ATLAS or MTH freight cars.
