Jim, its fiberglass/epoxy board not paper/epoxy. Its very difficult to break. I moved the tender relative to the engine to about an 027 curve and most of the tether movement is at the tender due to wider tunnel. This engine will get run on the club layout with 096 minimum anyway. YMMV as they say.
