Var channel 2 only getting 1-3 volts

Folks,

I am having a problem with my DCS. The Variable 2 channel is constantly putting out 1-3 volts ( it varies) even with 0 volts going in. I get the same range of voltages regardless of the voltages going in.

Initially I thought I wasn't getting any voltage so I opened it up to check the fuses. All tested good although one of them did have a darkened top to it. Since it tested OK I left it in. Now I am wondering if it is actually bad. I don't know the placement of the fuses as it relates to the 4 channels So I don't know if that fuse was for the Var 2 channel. I plan on opening it up tomorrow to replace that fuse. The 3 other channels seem to be working fine. This unit is revision L.

i was hoping someone would chime in with some suggestions for other things to check.
