Last weekend during a visit to Tucson, Arizona I happened into a very enjoyable toy train museum. The Gasden-Pacific Division Toy Train Operating Museum have set themselves up in a large building in an industrial park a mile or two north of downtown and have 8 different layouts and all kinds of interesting displays. I also picked up a nice postwar Lionel freight car in their gift shop which was stocked with tinplate stuff for sale. I particularly enjoyed their standard gauge layout which was nicely set up with a variety of other steel toys of the era, including Structo army tanks. They also have a large S gauge layout and related displays, and even some European tinplate. Well worth a visit.
