If money is no object, the Willard and Mayflower are luxurious, historical, and pricey. Otherwise, try Airbnb dot com. I know you've heard of it. It's like Uber for living accommodations. I tried it in Europe twice and it's the only way to enjoy great accommodations at a reasonable price.
