Hi Everyone, thank you for all the information. I'm not worried about resale as this will be our last home.

You may be around a lot longer than you think.
And sometime down the road, the home will need to be sold.
I'd go with JGL's suggestion: standard outlet placement, use heavy duty power strips for convenience.
