Reply to "Walthers Polydrive 060 switcher 1940-41"

Thanks to this thread and Aaron's offer to send me some drivers for my 0-6-0, I may have enough parts to get another Walthers Polydrive  loco back ont he rails.  Couple of shots of my loco parts pile and then the parts I am getting from Aaron. Interestingly I am pretty sure mine was found with parts of a Mogul frame.  I've been measuring the existing boiler shell and it is pretty much the 0-6-0 version based on the legnths so I have no idea why it would up with the Mogul frame. Aaron's parts include the right rods and frame but the frame looks to be cut off behind the drivers so will have to deal with that.  Also excited to see that nice pilot  and three new gearboxes .  I'll tyr to get thisugly pile of 80 year old parts in some form of completeness and I thin since I'll have some leftovers, maybe will earmark those for either an 0-4-0 or maybe the Walthers 4-4-2 in PRR form of course.  Maybe if I can find my way to the Chicago show in a April, I will find some more junk under the tables...  Wink Wink, hoping Carey has some boxes under the table  wink wink wink lol.
