@lightningstripe posted:From the "Certificates of Authenticity" for the locomotives I have, production numbers are as follows: 3 rail Tuscan Red GG-1 # 4911, 218, 3 rail NYC 4-6-4 Dreyfus Hudson # 5445, 250, 3 rail Pennsylvania 4-6-0 G-5, # 1961, 550, 3 rail NYC 0-6-0 switcher #232, 225. I also have a NKP Berk and a NYNH&H I-5 but they are packed away at the moment. Hope this helps . Earl G.
The quantities on Weaver certificates refer to identical locomotives with the same road number. In the case of the PRR 4-6-0, the only road number was #1961, so 550 was the total production. Their PRR L1s 2-8-2 came in two road numbers (738 and 1138) so the total production is the sum of what the certificates show for those road numbers. The PRR H10s 2-8-0 came in 3 road numbers (7609, 8421 and 9620), and so on.
