Reply to "Weaver freight cars."

I first became a weaver collector when I ran into a few special run cars with the depots around my home town. All were gone by the time I came around. The only one left was the Leigh Valley/Reading station in town. Sadly that is gone now too. This car has the one station that when I grew up the location was an A&P supermarket. I do remember the LV running at least one train a day and the reading one coal train through town. I now live about 2 miles from the Weaver factory and remember a local machine shop making the wheels for the cars. John20210912_075855_001
