It is difficult to adapt Lionel or MTH trucks to Weaver cars because the Weaver trucks mount from the bottom and on both the MTH and Lionel trucks, the mounting screw goes in from the top. It can be done but it's not a bolt-on. Atlas are a bit easier, I think. You might be better off looking for some Weaver die-cast trucks.
