Reply to "Weaver Rolling Stock and Engines Lets see them"

Two Weaver cars are sitting on a siding as a train of Atlas cars passes.

I normally don't get fantasy cars but I could not pass up the Playboy Automotive boxcar.  At least I think it is fantasy since I could not find a picture anywhere.  However, the 1948 Playboy Coupe is real.  My brother was a car buff and we went to an auto show in San Fransisco many years ago and there were maybe five Playboys there.  Strange little cars, but ahead of their time with innovative engineering similar to the Tucker.  Unfortunately, like the Tucker, it did not last long.

I'm getting ready to sell my 40+ AltasO and similar K-Line reefers and found this Weaver among them.  Nice car but, like the other reefers, if the prototype was not around in the late 40s it must go.
