Found this one the other night.

Apparently 2 chuffs/revolution is prototypical.... when the locomotive is having piston issues.

I guess a piston ring failed on Cumbres and Toltec 487, and they ran her back to the shop in Chama on one cylinder and another locomotive rescued the train.
